Our Training Offer

We offer specialist Early Years Training as follows:-

Theme 1- The New Early Years Foundation Stage and Principles into Practice. 

Including our key person EYFS Toolkit, our curriculum, child development and building vocabulary, the key person role at Strong Close, our Speech and Language Therapy and Schema Toolkits, our project work approach, assessment and enhancements -Let’s Talk and next steps, moderation, the Imagination Library and oral health and our research. Finished with a tour of the provision and feedback session. Training includes all power points and a resource pack.

Theme 2 - Supporting children with SEND, vulnerable children and self-regulation and executive function. 

Our SEND provision and our assessment of children with SEND, children with ACEs- Adverse Childhood Experiences, the effects of Covid, Leuven well-being and involvement scales, assessment- our Let’s Talk whole child overviews and Next Steps, attachment and trauma, intensive interaction, sensory room/area on a budget and self-regulation and executive function. Finished with a tour of the provision and feedback session. Training includes all power points and a resource pack.
